Influencer (275K+ follower) on Instagram might go to jail

A heat has been ignited on @jetsetfly profile. You can picture him as tai lopez but he has overdone it with scamming people. Now hundreds or thousands of people across the globe, mostly in USA, want refunds and some want to sue him in the court of law. He was selling fake ebooks and courses for over 2 years that costed from (minimal price) 567$ up to tens of thousands of dollars. Now his fake lifestyle has finally caught up to him. @bogdan.kosilov is exposing him on instagram.

Thoughts?

edit: i wanted to post this in lounge, accidentally posted in the wrong section, sorry
this will hopefully get moved to the lounge.
knew of jetsetfly since a few years ago from shopify and the atms stuff
i HATE people like him with a passion.
honestly sad that many people have fallen victim to marketers like him...and how many will continue to keep falling for it.

show you live in luxury,
make people hope and THINK that they can make it. cuz if u made it, anyone can!
make people pay outrageous prices. doesnt matter $500 or $1000...cuz its nothing compared to the dream life ure gonna have when u got it all set up
ppl pay u
money goes to fuel more of your expensive lifestyle
expensive lifestyle -> marketing -> money -> expensive lifestyle -> marketing -> money

DONT BELIEVE ANY marketer online.
their job is MARKETING, not whatever is in their course.

these types of people have ruined the idea of marketing for me. like forever. whenever i meet anyone and he says "i do marketing as my job", i automatically feel inner disgust and view that person as dishonest, manipulative scam freak and i walk away or cut those people out of my life forever. jetsetfly is not the first or last one who has done such scams with marketing, he was just dumb by blowing it publicly way too loud. can not trust marketers

No offence but marketing has ALWAYS been deceiving & manipulative. Thats the whole point. You abuse psychology to manipulate and influence your target audience into buying your useless shit.

A brand is just a cheap product with great manipulation behind it.

I disagree to an extent. It depends who is marketing your product in the end. I'd be more inclined to hire a business built on marketing, rather than a "social media influencer"
Monetizing the World

I never deal off-site

(except Autobuy)

I'm talking about a brand in general. Not an influencer. You can't buy an influencer.
If you buy e-books you deserved to get scammed

Oh right, I was referring to the Marketing comment, whilst that is the whole premise of marketing, make them feel as if time is limited on an offer or make them feel they'll miss out etc etc

Whilst I agree it's deceptive and manipulative, I disagree to an extent*

not such thing as fake ebook? ebook is pdf file that contains articles about something. if title of it is MAKE MONEY, and it contains information about some money making methods or approach or anything then thats not really scam

(i mean it doesnt contain most important info for sure but thats obvious)
Honestly if all ebook sellers went to jail, the world would be a better place.
