Does anyone have any knowledge of Odin firmware flashing?
I have a Samsung Galaxy S8 and when it's in the device setup; it gets to the Google Login but it goes black and it seems there's an error with Google Play Services.
So I had the idea of re-flashing the firmware to correct this error.

But I'm getting Odin Protocol Version Error on the bottom of the Download Mode screen.

Looking for any kind of help with this.

Download this version of Odin: https://gsm-firmware.com/index.php?a=dow...d&id=36475

It is a patched version that bypasses some comme errors.
Head to sammobile.com to download an official ROM for S8.
Load the AP and other files onto the patched Odin and start the flashing procedure.

Thanks for the reply; I figured it out and everything worked great :)

I think I just had the wrong version of odin for the S8.

Google apps are standard on samsung official firmwares, its only custom firmware when g-apps need flashing to the device seperately 🙂
