7 Years on HF, The Worker's testimonial

It's been seven years. Arrived on the forums at 15 years of age, posting in the GFX section with amateur signatures looking for feedback. This was an important stage in my HF journey because members started interacting with my threads, creating discussions. I guess I was an introverted boy happy to find people to talk to online. We played games together, talked on Skype and worked on small projects which most didn't come to conclusion. But it was important, with every new person I met here I was introduced to their passion and favorite section of the forums.

For example I love making music, I play guitar and sing and joined my first group on HF because of my capabilities and got to share my creations with other music lovers.

Fast forward a bit and I got into Hacking. I would visit the Hacking Tutorial section and just read everything I could land my eyes on then proceed to some advanced research online. This just leaded to even more questions and things to learn. Helping out members with their questions and came the day where I started posting guides myself.

I was lucky enough to join a few major groups here, The Void, Illuminati, Sociopath, Security, Fly by Night and more.

When I joined Security my buddy Assassin and me came up with a project; creating the first Hackforums Monthly Magazine created by the community. Let me tell you something, this is freaking complicated and not an easy task. We needed Writers, GFX Artists, Content Managers, Editors, Grammar Nazis and more. But the hardest part was the managing aspect, telling people to meet deadlines, organizing dates for publication etc... But we managed to release the #1st Edition, you can read it here or see the team: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5793485

I would have loved to this again but what I've learned is that people here are independent and managing so many people that all have different time zones, jobs and personal life obligations is a hard task. But it is also their independence that made the magazine so unique, which I am very proud of.

During my time here I also got to sell a product, I sold a Fiver method which allowed people to get every $5 gigs for free. I was overwealmed with the responses and sold so many I had to stop the train because it was getting too hard to distribute everyone.

All well and said, the conclusion is that I've contributed in most sections of the forums and helped when I could. But I also relied on other people and got things sorted out when I really needed to. HF's community is full of talented people with a great heart, others that claim their differences and independence by acting weird or trolling, and a lot that are casual users browsing the forums always ready for interesting conversations or fun interactions.

A lot of the people I've had the chance to meet are gone and carry on with their lives, some are banned and others banned themselves. They knew how addictive this site was but I'm still hooked and riding the train. I wish future members to have a great stay here and you can always message me if you have any questions. I'm now 22, but it still feels like the very first time I searched hackforums.net. Thanks you.
