When going into a private message it used to be automatically quoted, which is really really helpful for nested conversations or going back through old messages.

Is there any reason why it was turned off? And any way to make it default to quote

This is a good suggestion, or perhaps make HF PM more IM-like.

I agree. I knew something was off but I couldn't quite tell what. It'd be great that way you only have to look for a PM or two instead of having to go through them all. Or it could be like any messaging service and have them sort of lumped together in the same PM but with each person on one side so it looks something a bit like skype or texting imo.

This would make a whole lot more sense to me, kind of like how Reddit does it then? I'm still new so it was hard in the beginning to even find the message that you sent in order to get back into the conversation so I completely understand where this is coming from.

Agree. What's the point of messaging if you cant see the messages.
I have short term memory loss and this new PM system fucks with my head and fills me full of raging anger.

I agree, additionally it'd be fantastic if the alert for PM's got set as viewed after opening a PM as well.

Go to Tracking and check if it’s been read or not, not really hard.
