About
Proxy Orbit is a different kind of proxy service. Instead of buying proxies in bulk, or buying access to a rotating proxy gateway, we provide a Rotating Proxy API. This gives the best of both worlds. What this means is that instead of buying proxies directly you buy access to our API. Our API provides access to a pool of proxies that are constantly being updated and checked. If a proxy does not work it is removed from the pool and new working proxies will come in to replace it.
These proxies are scraped from various sources around the web. This is a key detail because the proxies are not guaranteed to work in situations where private proxies would be normally used. Our service simply provides an API for filtered public proxies that have been rigorously checked and sorted then provided to you via an easy to use RESTful API.
Each API request yields a new working proxy server that has been checked within the last hour. The request also returns useful information about the proxy such as the ISP, location, websites the proxy was able to load, protocol, etc.
The API

You can make a test request yourself here https://api.proxyorbit.com/v1/?token=Iut...KR1ARflDKA
That link will load a new random proxy from our pool.
The results can also be filtered if more specific proxies are needed. For example, if we want a UK proxy that uses SOCKS4 and can load amazon.com then an API request might look like the following:
https://api.proxyorbit.com/v1/?token=Iut...ocation=GB
Proxies can also be filtered by speed. If I want a proxy that takes no more than 0.5 seconds to load a web page then I might do
https://api.proxyorbit.com/v1/?token=Iut...KA&rtt=0.5
Where rtt is "Round Trip Time" and 0.5 is the max time it should take the proxy to load a web page.
If I want proxies in bulk I can use the "count" argument which will return X number of proxies with one request.
For example https://api.proxyorbit.com/v1/?token=Iut...KA&count=5 will return five proxies at once
Arguments can be mixed and matched to get the ideal proxies that you need for your specific task.
Use Cases
Proxy Orbit is targeted at developers who are building software that relies on users loading free proxies manually. Instead of providing a place in the software for inserting proxy lists, Proxy Orbit allows you to integrate the API directly into the software or allowing users to load their own API key. This turns proxy integration from a file loading operation to a switch toggling operation.
Some specific use cases include
- Web Scraping
- Ad Verification
- SEO
- Website unblocking
- Website geolocation testing
There are many more possibilities and we can work with you depending on your specific use case.
Pricing
Proxy Orbit provides 2000 free API requests per month. This means that you will get access to 2000 working proxies every month for free (some may be duplicates)
If 2000 requests is not enough we have 3 other plans to fit your needs.
- 1,000,000 API requests for $13/mo
- 5,000,000 API requests for $20/mo
- Unlimited API requests for $50/mo
