Beggining in hacking ?

Long reading incomming.
Hello, I am kinda new here and as well kind of new to hacking.
I just became really interested in hacking for some reason and would like if you could answer some of my questions.
I know some kiddies straight up ask how to hack facebook or something but I could not care less about that right now.

•Not important to read. Read only if you want•
Basically my brother - older than me works in in network managers team or something. He never kind of learned a programming language, and recently when we talked he told me that he had to write a python script for work for something and he just went and wrote the script without him knowing the language that he learned as he was writing it, so I asked how is that possible ? And he just answered something related to "skill". It is possible of course but im jealous asf  because this  just is not an option to me lol I'd need to learn it from a book or something...

Back to the main part, I would like to ask what programming languages are basically "suited" for hacking?
I was wondering about: Js, Perl, Python, I do have basic knowledge of html I can read 75% of it lol. Then Shell. I'd like to learn shell but I was wondering if it will come in handy. I recently installed Parrot OS on  my VBox. I started getting used to linux.
So I'd like to ask perhaps what should I learn first ? I read somewhere I should go: Shell, Javascript, ...

Thank you for reading  😉
If you are interested in Web Application Hacking, then:

HTML,CSS

// At least a theoretical minimum for understanding

Javascript
SQL
RegExp
Nix
PHP
Http,Apache (Webmastering)
+Persistence.
Once you know the programming logic coding it on Python or any other language is straight forward. For a bigger , most complex development you need a mastery over various libraries though they work exactly the same on most programming language.

In regards to what’s the best programming language ; the answer does not exist.

You can build the same thing in any language. The best language is on that works for you.

I like javascript ; though u would be better served learning backend as opposed to HTML / CSS.

For a developer trying to make a genuine app he can sell HTML and CSS are paramount. But for a hacker trying to see what u can make a computer do ; not so much.

Give Node.js a try; that’s my recommendation. Though if u wanna go with Python no harm but stick with 1.

Though a genuine tip first figure out what u want to build then learn programming else u are going to get lost.

For example if u want to build a RaT something that seems super popular on hackforums you wanna start with Express.js ( Koa.js , Fastify , testify all work but express is what I prefer ; you are welcome to try that ) and socket.io for networking.

Oh and a lot of abilities that u see RATs provide you can achieve that by dropping a Powershell script.

If u reach that point node gives u a native library called child-process that allows u to spawn process and run other programs from within your code. This will be helpful once u progress to this point.
Thank you both for your answers, I think I'll start with node.js with some online e-books I find, then I'll move to javascript and php, sql etc...
Will take a time to develop a programming logic for me but I'll see how things go. Might take a year till I "master" node lol.
Thank you again for your answers :)
