I have a Samsung J7 that I bought online. It was originally a T-Mobil device, but since my plan is with another provider, I bought the phone pre-unlocked.
I'm interested in rooting the device, but I haven't been able to find a working method for this particular phone thus far outside of flashing it. If I take this course of action, will it undo my unlock? Are there other concerns I ought to have?
