Detecting OS through mail - Gmail

Hello guys,
Is there any kind of a method like steganography or anything else that can detect an OS by sending something to someone through Gmail (say he clicks it)?
I know some kind of trackers but when it comes to Gmail you get the User Agent of Google's servers and not the actual PC..

Thanks in advance :)

Only way is too put a link in your email and hope the guy who opened it will click on it. Google hide personal information like IP with a proxy and the user agent as you say.

Then put this code in your PHP page :

Thank you.
In fact that's the exact code I use, but when someone with a Gmail opens it I get his IP, but the user agent is equivalent to Google's crawlers.
Is there a way to bypass it and see the target's OS?

The IP address is not the one owned by the guy who opened email, it's a Google proxy IP, scan it in an IP informations provider you will see ! I don't think you will find a way to bypass this, try with another email provider maybe with lESS security
You can use a mailtracking app like mailtrack . io -- I've been using it for a while it should show you the os and the date/time the email was opened.

So there is no tracker or way that can bypass Gmail's proxy?

Does it bypass Gmail's servers tho?

Yes, most of the times, test it for free and you'll know if it suites you.
