The other day I posted a thread about "How often do you get your hair cut"

At the end of it when I closed that thread, it had 4 pages and another thread of a similar nature was posted.

At first I couldn't contain myself and was laughing for a good 10 minutes but now I'm thinking, what the actual hell?

I make a thread about the frequency of a hair cut and I get 46 replies and 321 views on it? And a someone creates a similar thread?

I would say this doesn't seem normal but this is the internet after all, is everyone just riding threads for post count?
I just can't fathom how something so stupid attracted so much attention, in the time that it did.
