It's a simple trick you might not know, and doesn't work everywhere
but if you just want a secondary account and you need a new unique email address, you can do this trick
i tested on few sites and working like a charm
Basically gmail doesn't make difference between a username with dots and one without it
For example [email protected] and [email protected] are the same but also [email protected]
Meanwhile most sites consider string inputs different if they contain dots or not
So if you try to login as [email protected], you cant do it with [email protected]
And if you try to register twice it will recognize the same email but not the one with a dot
also verification works (generally)
so basically if you just need a mail to register with, add a dot somewhere in your original email, you still receive the mail, it will be unique, it will work
SO no need to redirect your mail or create new addresses or new emails if your goal is to create a new account on the same site
just add a dot somewhere in the name before the @
yes it means anywhere and each of them will be unique on site
so if you need this for any reason, you can have a lot of combinations with it
like registering yourself in a game twice or referring yourself, creating a facebook for a friend, whatever is your reason
you can test it by mailing yourself and adding dots into your mail, you still receive the mail from yourself
it might not work for all the sites but it works for quite a lot
