Hello,
As per thread title, I wanted to know if this was still possible in 2019. I am a large affiliate and was curious what would happen if I launched a separate side campaign and the only source of traffic will be from a medium-sized botnet being DNS Hijacked to redirect www.Amaz.com to an affiliate link redirect of that website. The user will not notice they have redirected to an affiliate link before www.Amaz.com has loaded, therefore providing commissions for any purchases made from said user.
Is this type of DNS HiJacking with a botnet still possible? Does anyone know a trusted provider for this service? And does anyone have any experience with the affiliate networks while utilizing this type of method?
Thanks in advance HF
