I'm almost 100% sure they are fake but want to know for sure.
How can I tell which ones are legit? I have one of the $50 ones that I bought at Bestbuy and reformatted it for extra game space on my xbox. I guess Wal-Mart does a fucking terrible job of vetting their vendors?

No, that is their regular price.

No these ones are not fake. But you do need to be careful when buying flash drives and micro SD cards on ebay and such. You can edit them and make windows tell you its 300 gb but really its only like 20, etc. You'll only know if you try and copy 300 gb + of data to that flash drive and you'll get errors, etc.
SneakyBoots Discord or HF convo me.
Not necessarily fake, just bought a huge quantity for a lower price and a better rebate - thus passing savings into consumers.

ended up buying samsung evo 32gb.. becareful there are many chinese knockoffs on the market.
This happens a LOT in Asia.
My grandfather got scammed for an SD card years ago. I remember laughing about it with him wondering how he could've ever thought it was real.

You think for photo/video storage ssd vs hdd is gonna make a huge difference?

Look at the read/write/rpm of the individual drives. There is a lot to compare spec wise depending what it needs to do.

SSD has superior read and write capabilities compared to a regular hd. Depends on what your doing with it. If your constantly moving video files around it could help and editing them. If your just storing a video/movie library and you want to save money I don't see why a regular hd would hurt. SSDS are getting pretty cheap so it depends if the price ratio is worth the speed read / write values to you. A lot of people and computer shops are starting to do away with the mechanical platter drives.
You can get a 1 tb ssd for about $160 in my country. Or you can get a western digital mechanical drive 4 TB for like $118.
Those are the two options I'd go with depending on what I needed it for.
BTW if you go with a mechanical drive please stay away from Seagate. They have the highest failure rates and the platters basically melt into the hard drive over time.
WD or Samsung make good stuff.

These are external HDD's, you can probably even get them much cheaper.
This is where it will start to cost you: https://www.newegg.com/External-SSDs/Sub...ry/ID-2022

Those prices looks normal to me.
Recently i got my PC From one of South India's Best Suppliers( I got their contact hoping for lower prices and i saved like $200-300)
While talking to him, He was telling me How MLLIONS of Old/Thrown away And refurbished Hdd's are flooding the market for super cheap prices. He even showed me the peices ( It was all brand new with the box.)
He said he is the only shop in the neighborhood to print "Refurbished" In the bill if someone buys it. While other sellers just sell it as usual telling it's a special discount or something.
