I'm trying to open the ports of my WiFi modem/router and nothing works...
Everything i ever did:
- I go into modem/router setup, port forwarding feature, put program/service name, input/output port (TCP/UDP), my local IP.
- I disable Firewall and SPI on the modem/router.
- I enable DMZ.
- I try with Windows Firewall disable and enable with input/output ports (TCP/UDP)
So this is my questions:
1) Even with the port forwarding feature enable in the setup, can it have some kind of factory lockout?
2) What is the best WiFi modem/router with port forwarding feature that opens the ports smoothly?
3) Is it dangerous to leave SPI disabled?
4) When replacing my current modem/router, I just need to swap each other and enter the enter to the new WiFi network/password and the Internet be recognized normally?
