Privnotes Scam? EDIT: PRIVNOTES.COM IS A SCAM NO ENCRYPTION

We all know and love Privnote, but there's a site that shows up 2nd on Google Search, it's called Privnotes, with an s at the end. Anyhow, my partner used it to send me a Bitcoin address and I copied the whole note on my phone and discovered that after I had sent the coins that when we compared the addresses it was different. I've tried to emulate the circumstances best of my knowledge to reproduce but to no avail. Is it a scam site?

My partner is IRL not from HF, else I'd known it's a scam attempt of course. Just to be clear.
You're saying you expected a BTC-address delivered by privnote, but instead an address was delivered by privnotes, and the address you actually received differs from the one you were expecting? Because then it sounds like you've been scammed, IRL connection or not.
that means your IRL friend scammed you after 10 years of friendship.

Exactly. But who sent the wrong address, my partner or was it maliciously replaced by privnotes? I'm looking into that site as we speak, it was registered recently, behind CloudFlare and using WHOIS protection.

If someone has the technical know-how, can you check privnotes.com if they do the encryption clientside or not? I checked some Russian forums and a bunch of people got scammed by that site.

It's not encrypted client side it's fucking fake ass site xD
