Python

Give me projects so I can learn python

Hey guys, I've always given up learning python due to courses getting repetitive and/or boring so I figured actually doing scripting is a better way to learn the language.

I created this thread so people could give me interesting but small scripting projects so I can learn by doing (I already know a bit but not enough to get by)

appreciate the help HF  🤝
I mean, it totally depends on what your interests are. If you like website development, maybe you can create a small shop without the payment part tho. Another cool idea is to create chat or a forum.

If you are into hacking and penetrating testing, you could create a small payload that will allow you to get a reverse cmd to a victim and upload/download files. This will also help you with understanding other important concepts, such as sockets (if you are not already familiar with).

Another very interesting thing that you can do with python is using Raspberry Pi. There are practically tons of small project you can write for a cheap raspberry, and is also a fun experience as well since most of the times you will be programming an actual device.

Additionally, think about creating a small utility for computers. Maybe a multi-tool which will be cross-platform and that it will help users with everyday tasks. For example a file shredder, a task scheduler, an clock/alarm (you can create UI for this as well).

Basically sky is the limit.

GL&HF out there 🤗
Try something simple like making a simple text based word game where the user can select from choices by entering the choice into the terminal and the program will output the outcome of the choice. See how much you can add and make it unique to what you want to do.

I could honestly post my school assignment problems if you really wanted, but I think the text game is a good thing to get your feet wet.

One I had fun with was writing a keyboard and mouse recorder that can replay what you do afterwords.

Try making a girlfriend that's what I did xD
Make a port scanner with simple python
^ Most of those are too complicated or just involve a bunch of libraries. Try something that you can do with few libraries so you can learn the basics such as a quiz game or a guessing game.
I would suggest you reading this book: Automate the boring stuff with Python

I think it be interesting to you.
