Upload Text to FTP Server

I have a variable and I want to upload the content of this variable to a FTP server using C. How could I do this?
FTP is dead. Don tuse it.

Nobody said it was his FTP server, there are some vendors that haven't upgraded yet to anything more secure still.

OP - FTP is an incredibly simple protocol, look at the RFC and you could easily do this with basic sockets... If they give you the option to use SFTP, use that instead; most SSH libs should have something readily available built-in for this.

It's HF you think anyone would ask questions ffor legitimate reasons here? If he wants to upload to an FTP server, chances are he's using his own FTP server and doesn't know a better protocol and wants to send something like keylogger logs or whatever.

Let him do it then lol. 😏

If your assumption is right: unless he's written his own FTP server, which I doubt it since he can't even create an FTP client to send data to the server... This is a hosting service that should already have security if he's set everything up appropriately; HTTPS, SFTP.

Members get annoyed when I try to go outside the question and help them further, so I usually don't bother.
