we should be able to have an option to add our thread image through a separate feature to allow unlimited edits of the image but not the text. If not we will have people closing and making new threads., we only have 5 edits available.

There's a lot of problems with this suggestion.

a.) Upgrade to get more edits
b.) Images aren't SEO friendly, and you would be doing a giant disservice to the community by using images for text
c.) You can already include images in threads.

A variation of this suggestion appears and always gets shot down. I can speak from years of experience the max edits is not a giant issue for upgraded members, and no one is closing threads and making new ones to bypass this. Design your thread content so that it ages well, and you don't need to edit it. Simple.

if you want more you should consider upgrading 😉

Or buy a sticky / sales tag if it is a sales thread!

If the edited post is the first post of a sticky (paid or free) it has unlimited edits. If a post has a current Sales Tag it has a 20 edit limit.
