This is a fully working duplication glitch, this thread will be updated if the glitch is patched and no longer working.
It only works on PS4, it has been tried on both PC and Xbox One but doesn't work on either of them. It may possibly work with other guns and ammunition, although for the testing which has been done so far, we will be using FX-45 and .45 ammunition. The reason that I have released this is because I believe there are already multiple dupers on most if not all public servers (this works on private) and the loot economy is ruined either way, the whole of the loot economy on console DayZ needs to be changed all together, PC has a much better loot economy. Also, I play on Xbox One and not PS4 (I've tried this on my buddys PS4 who told me about the glitch). Anyhow, to the method.
Requirements:
- Playstation 4 and DayZ (obviously)
- FX-45 handgun (possibly another gun will work but not tested)
- .45 bullets (not a FX-45 magazine) (possibly other ammunition will work but not tested)
Step 1.
The first thing you need to do, is get a a 0 bullet. To do this, simply put your FX-45 in your hands, and load a bullet into it. Once a bullet is loaded, unload the bullet and in your inventory you will have a .45 bullet which has a quantity of 0. (sometimes you need to do this a few times in order to get the 0 bullet).
Step 2.
Now you have the 0 bullet, you need to make sure it isn't in the items you want to dupe. For example, if you want to dupe your backpack, your 0 bullet needs to be in your vest/jacket, not in your backpack.
Step 3.
Now drop whatever it is you want to dupe, like your backpack for example. Drop it on the floor and then wait 90 seconds before going onto the next step. The 0 bullet should still be in your inventory.
Step 4.
After you have waited 90 seconds, drop the 0 bullet onto the floor. This should crash the server, forcing it to restart. Log back onto the server, and you should have both your backpack in your inventory, and also the backpack on the floor.
