Has it always said this? I swear it hasn’t, but even though it doesn’t fully say from camera roll, this is still costing me sales and buyers are noticing. Pretty annoying. Is there any way to fix this or is this just the way things are now?

just use the memory method, it works just fine without any tools, even with the newest SC version.
