Spymax v2 is ideal, phone screen is off and you can do many things
Spynote - is good also, but has a "keep-alive" banner displaying on the screen - un;ess you have access to the phone to hide this notification I suggest spymax v2 (make your apk file FUD by signing it via 3rd party apps)

Create the apk in spymax v2, then transfer to your phone (do not install) and open the apk with APK Editor Pro .. adjust the settings in apk editor pro ... (select settings tab) and select Decoding mode > Decode all files .... select Sign APK with > test key then select Output APK Name > (app name)_(un)signed.apk button and that is it.

Open apk editor pro > select an apk file> when selected select Full edit(resource re-build) then hit build button and it will sign .. and new signed apk will be in output folder

Definitely use Android RAT, than Android keylogger.
