This site has all changed so it's like optimized for a mobile phone or something on my PC I have a lot of trouble finding everything now compared to how this site used to be. When I try to use another browser it looks like the old site though but i can't log into that browser as it keeps rejecting my password on other browsers besides this one.
I know I'm an idiot I wish I could just get Hack Forums to be like it used to and not look like it's optimizing for a mobile phone on my PC and I can't even find how to PM people easily.

Press the 3 dots at the top right. Scroll down, and select desktop site. Once that's enabled you will have the desktop version of the site enabled. Of course you can deselect it to go back.
All I see is three lines and when I click that I get navigation, upgrade, search, members list etc.. don't see PC.
The mobile optimized variant is much better OP, try using it for a while and you will like it.

Future tip. Sometimes people have trouble detecting the device type and may execute a bit of javascript to detect the device width (sometimes forwarded to a mobile specific site), if Desktop Mode doesn't work, sometimes turning your phone sideways will.

Yes I decided that must be the problem and zoomed out but still haven't found the three dots. I'm on Windows 8 on a desktop.

Can't imagine why you'd want to do that. But if you're on iPhone you need to click on the "Tt" in the URL bar and click "Request Desktop Site"
