Can you guys give me tips and tricks to grow followers, like how to put yourself out there blah blah.

Honestly, I've just been crediting and reposting works in my niche from Reddit. That combined with slight f4f during the first couple hundred. It's taken me a month, but I'm above 1k now. This is my first Instagram account.

There's no secret way..
It depends what your Instagram page is about.

You can follow big pages with similar niche and comment a lot so others will see you.
You can follow other people following those big pages, then they will get a notification you followed them and will check you out. If they will follow you or not depends of your page quality.

There are also bots that can do all this for you and draw traffic this way to your page (Paid bots)

1. Right amount of posting, not 15 times a day, not three times a week etc. It depends on what you post to correlate how many posts you should be making a day.

2. As it was already said. Paid bots that automate following, commenting, unfollowing and liking are extremely useful, as you will steadily grow daily. If you do it by hand, you'll grow in bursts just when you have time to promote or comment/like on tons of posts.

3. Shoutout 4 shoutouts, even if its a personal account and not some nicheable thing it is worth it to do. You wanna go with other personal pages that are around the same size as you.

4. Engaging captions, ask questions and get a lot of comments. Comments/likes help your posts show at the top of everyones feed that follows you, If you amass a lot in a short amount of time. Another great thing about this is it gives you a small percentage to hit explore page. Also people are more likely to follow you, if they see you have a ton of active engagement.

5. Aesthetic photos/theme, even if its personal and just selfies. If you do wanna grow, doing this is optional but will help. It does limit you, because once you do it you have to stick to it. its worth it in some instances though, Doing so can really help you gain followers in the long run.

6. This one is obvious but I will still put it. Hashtags, find a nice clean way to post them without it looking messy or cluttered with your caption. Using the typical #likeforlike does really get you some traffic.

Along with the right amount of posts you want to find when your followers are most active and post around those times.
A post at 3am on Sunday will have a lot less engagement as a post around 2-4pm that day.
