Hello Staff, and whoever else reads this.

I just had a quick suggestion in regards to the contract/dispute system. So, at least in my opinion, I have an invalid dispute open against my account. That being said the user is now closed so even if I wanted to, I can't resolve it with the member. My suggestion is that if a member gets closed, an open dispute should either be marked as resolved, or at least set as a status to where it doesn't make my profile look like a scammer. I am not here trying to scam anyone and hate that people think I am a scammer and I can't do anything about it.

I kinda agree tbh. Kinda dumb even for the people that may have scammed. If they had a change of heart they can't go back and fix it.

I could get behind this. I've seen quite a few false disputes made by members who ended up closes for scamming.

Nope, but their's no way of resolving it with them as their account is now closed. There should at least be a way for staff to check the validity of the report and make judgement based on that.

It just leaves the wrong impression of me as a user, all because the user is now closed for alternative reasons and this report is stuck on my account without me having the possibility to resolve it.

yeah, it sucks to have an open dispute, people can make a clear judgement for themselves though. pretty sure omni does mark deal disputes invalid from time to time anyway.

Have not came across this because I investigate who I am dealing with before making a deal,
but I do see people have to deal with this people will come here with multi accounts and make bad deals just for the "fun" of it.
maybe wipe all b ratings given from closed accounts.

Don't account closures happen with a specific reason shown?

Disputes get closed only in case the account was closed with one of X reasons.

Yeah they do but I still disagree with a dispute being removed even if the accuser gets closed for scamming, as even though they have also scammed the dispute may still be valid, and at the end of the day deal disputes are there as a warning.

if someone comes with a multi account to leave a false dispute then Omni will eventually close the account and mark the dispute invalid.

What if the Dispute is legit and the account was closed for something unrelated to scamming or Marketplace problems?
