Does anyone OSRS lure anymore? I used to do it a ton back before EOC and on OSRS. I would like to get back into it if anyone else still does it.

Luring has surely changed over the years. In fact, anytime I ever see it being done is by YouTubers who have spent a lot of time filming to get the content for those videos.

AFAIK you can get banned for it nowadays. Arkos (another member) and I used to lure people and bots back in 2011 lol. I'm still pretty good at SE'ing if you have a target in mind.

I remember watching the Jojo videos back in the day and being absolutely amazed by the stupidity of players to bring such valueables into pvp areas. i think however nowadays people go around it way more sophisticated than they would previously. i heard from a friend who still actively plays osrs that people go about triple scheming someone, where one guys pretends to be an obvious lurer, the second one warns him about the scammer, and an not so random bypasser goes into this aswell. all to make the victim believe he is in fact able to outsmart the lurer. I remember the good olds days where you could just find someone selling something in varrock close to your killers combat level and you could just add them and pm them you're interested in buying it and that you were woodcutting near edgeville. and you would just pretend to cut a tree and they would trade you running into the wilderness. ahh the good old days.
