Hello, this is an ultra mini tutorial!
This is the scenario: You got the wifi key, but want to stay stealth, so not connect to the wifi, but save a lot of sniff of your target's network in pcap files (check another tut how to do it)
In a time you'll want to peek into it, maybe for some passwords, or anything important.
This is how you could d it easily:
Step 1: Let's start Wireshark.
Step 2: Go to Edit->Preferences->IEEE 802.11
Step 3: Tick the "Enable decryption" check box
Step 4: Start entering the known password(s) to the "Key #n" fields. WPA passwords should look like this: "wpa-pwd:PASSWORD:SSID".
There will be packets that can't be decrypted, that may be because for that client you didn't captured all 4 handshakes for the session.
I usually kick all users from the network from time to time, and also when begin to 'listen'.
When finished, open the saved pcap files and you can filter it for precious data!
