Who all here has a full time job and a side hustle?
Recently, my girlfriend told me she was pregnant, so I went and got a job at this local factory, and they are usually working 8-10 hour shifts, and I was wanting to keep up my online side hustle. Does anyone here do this? Can anyone give me some tips + ideas?

I don't think I could do it tbh. I'm doing online work although I will be buying my first rental property so I'll have to balance too.
Congrats on the pregnancy bro!
What is your side hustle?
How expensive are kids really? Except from diapers and some really small portions of food what other expense do they have?

All I can really say is some extra attention. This will be my 2nd child, so I'm not new to this. I was just curious as to if other HF members do this.

That is from birth to 18yo. That is like 4k a year and 350 a month.
If there are 2 working parents, all they need is a raise of 175 each per month to make it. Doesn't sound that hard.
Online side hustle doesn't pay near enough comparable to my everyday gig, so I don't hustle much anymore. If I was successful at the side-hustle and the day job pay was paltry, I'd probably spend more time at it. Better to work more now than when the kid comes. Ovverall though, got to do what you got to do.

Really I would just try to make money from a hobby.

I mean... if you enjoy it, it definitely makes it easier to keep at it!

You're forgetting doctor's visits, toys, day trips, snacks for during the day, emergency hospital visits, etc. There's so much more work that goes into kids than you realise.
I am wanting to get a side hustle but, I just don't have much time outside of my day job to think of anything that would be at least the least bit enjoyable to make money from. I have a kid due in June and I don't want my wife to work after having the kid because I want her to be able to raise our kid and us live on my income and her maybe find some small job to do from home. I make really good compared to the average $ per/hour in my living area but, I still wouldn't mind a little extra coming in every month.

I am having a few side hustles that make me good money besides my salary. If you are interested to hear some of them please drop me a PM. I would be more than happy to help this new family. GL :)

It depends on what your internet side hustle is. It's almost a meme at this point, but dropshipping is the only side hustle i've been able to maintain working alongside a full time job simply because it requires so little effort.
I'm a full-time student with online (side?) hustles.
