Hey guys,

Some time ago it was a trick to find someone's profile. You had to add his phone number in your contacts and in messenger app you could saw the facebook profile. This glitch isn't working anymore.

Any ideas about how to find a profile if you have his phone number?

You'll probably have to do it the old fashioned way and find a name or some other information that can lead you to the subject.

After FB took it on the chin from Congress they scaled back your ability to search for phone numbers within the main search bar. For about a year or more there was a work around by going through messenger which worked great, but apparently FB finally got around to disabling the work around. Here is something that might work.

Start off with a new device. Place your target number in the contacts of the new device. Then create a fake FB page. As you are creating FB will ask to have access to your contacts because it wants you to be connected to your friends. Allow it to have access and maybe, just maybe it will search for the number and find “your friend.”

I'm a bit late, however if its any help to you.. i found a way where you try to recover an account using the password reset, through this it will give you a choice of either using the email or phone number, I managed to find out one of my friends was trying (a poor attempt) to catfish me and our group of friends as a joke, to find when i typed his phone number in the through the forgotten password request, it listed his accounts linked to the number! May help you track what account's are behind the number. Hope it helps you as it did me haha
