So I got a $2k ticket for window tint last night, they got me on all 4 windows + the little triangle windows which is why it’s so much. I have lawyers on retainer so I’m not too worried about paying.
What’s the highest ticket you got?

$300 for not yielding to oncoming traffic from a private entry. That's when I totaled my Mini. The cop considered me at fault but didn't take into account 2 eyewitnesses who stopped and said the other driver was speeding. btw, that exact intersection has TERRIBLE viewpoint. It's curved road with a 25mph speed limit (usually people drive 40+ though) and has a very bad line-of-sight. And guess what, less than a year after my accident they now have finally put in a traffic light there. That's really fucked up because realistically the city is partially to blame for the accident due to poor traffic management and road design.
And now, my insurance bill is huge. I totaled 2 cars within 1 year. First was my fault though with driver error. Second I'll take about 20% blame on it imho.
Bleh, fuck tickets.
Luckily i've only had verbal and written warnings. The worst I got pulled over for was after racing a blacked out charger through an empty town at 2 am. Cop down the road got me speeding after the charger pulled off, even crossing a double yellow to get around a truck sitting at a red light (I'm not proud of how dumb I was). Said "I heard you let off from way down here" told him it wasn't my 4 cylinder Japanese VTEC engine and told him I was messing around with a Hellcat. Let me go with a written said "yeah you were right we were looking for that guy not you".
Not sure how much they saw or knew but they let me off the hook for losing horribly to that charger.
Police chase on my bike £1000 and 12 weeks back dated by 6weeks

Bleh, fugg tickets.
That’s actually so tragic, and so unfair. It’s a shame that cops can get away with things such as these. I’ve had some bullshit tickets too. I don’t understand what the point of nitpicking every little driving mistake is? I genuinely don’t know, but do police officers get commission once tickets are paid? It sounds pretty silly lol but I mean if retail workers get commission, why not cops?

So jealous. Every time I get pulled over it’s always a ticket, even if it’s a tiny one. So unfair. Happy for you though!
Don't know yet still in court for a DUI :/

Most expensive was parking on a handicap spot, which I honestly didn’t noticed. Came back an hour later and saw a ticket of $600~ in USD currency.
@OP
Where do u live? No stalking but I mean which part of the world? Here in Europe here they can fine you for having “too dark” windows but a tint is allowed.
In my country it is 550 USD ticket for front tints, also you have to take it off and deliver the car to the DMV which will see if you have actually taken it off . If you fail to do so, they will repo your car and you will lose your license.
I got stopped the other day. Paid the ticket, took the tints off and delivered the car to the DMV.
Luckily, the autoshop was 15 min drive from the local DMV, got new ones installed the same day lmao
