I don't think what exactly you're trying to do making an RSPS type forums. Your forum isn't particularly niche from what I can see. Also looks like it's ran by children (no offense).
https://realforums.net/Thread-What-can-I...hop?pid=32 - Who asks the community what to add to the shop? Don't you have any plans what so ever? Do you just want to add some shit to the shop just to add it there and make some quick cash? If so, that's a bad way to go about it. You should have these things planned out, no need to rush a forum launch. Also someone suggested adding awards to the shop. Isn't the entire purpose of awards to be awarded? What's the point in awards when you can just go buy them?
Coding - What's the point in having a channel for nearly any popular language? You barely have any users to populate these topics. Why would people even bother? There are no users on the forums. They're better on trying Google and/or using StackOverflow. Hell HackForums is better, and from what I've seen, this isn't particularly booming these days. Point being; when you have too many topics and too few users, the forums feel empty, and nobody wants to browse an empty forum. I would suggest narrowing down topics to a few categories, and using tags instead. Later on you can have posts by a certain tag moved to a different topic.
The design is very basic, and very bright. Personally I don't really fancy bright themes, I would prefer a dark option. Besides, the theme seems to have a few issues here and there. Could also be more responsive, right now the navigation bar would be quite small on a mobile device. The font in the footer (Lobster) isn't particularly readable either. I would suggest using that primarily on headings, if at all using it.
Seeing this pretty much gave me a flashback to when I used to be the guy making forums, because I thought it would be cool to have a community of my own. Though I had no real plan, no real vision, no real experience. Besides, forums are more or less dying out these days. Who wants to create a new account on a random forum that may or may not be alive tomorrow? Most people just go to Discord, Reddit or what remains of existing forums.
I'm not telling you to give up on your forums, I'm just serving my personal opinions and first hand experience doing the very same. I wish you luck getting your forum up and running. Hell! Who knows, maybe it's booming of activity one day :)
