Why are Indians like this?

Ok, this might be controversial, but I just have to vent out a little.

I've been doing freelancing work for the last 2 years. Mostly CPA work (Videos, landing pages, thumbnails, etc.)

I've done stuff for people all around the world. Europeans, Americans, Asians, you get my drift. Now my prices are STANDARD. And when I say standard I mean STANDARD AS FUCK. I don't overprice it, but it certianly isn't ''cheap''. And I noticed something today. I've literally never made a deal from someone from India. And literally every 5th guy that messages me is from India, so its not like it's rare for me to get messages from there.

Now the thing is, we discuss almost everything. From what they want, when they want, etc. But when it comes to the final price or time to pay (I always take payments beforehand) they either tell me the price is way too high (My work is literally cheaper than my competitors) or they just seen me and don't reply at all.

Why would you go through the hassle of even contacting me, if you aren't ready to pay. Just...why?
Well there are some nations that have just been raised with that mindset. Mostly those are the nations that live in poverty. They don't spend a lot of money because a service like this seems expensive when they compare it to how they have lived their whole life.
Lovely.
It's almost certainly a cultural thing. If you ever visit India, every market sale involves haggling to some degree, and as a nation they like to use every part of everything in meals, and don't like to pay full price for anything. Back in the army, we had one soldier who was a first generation British born Indian, and he always warned us ahead of time that if we were going to be dealing with Indians, to be very strict about money because they'll take as much as they can from you, and give you as little as possible. Honestly, I think it comes down to poverty as a national theme, when there's been desperation in society to get what they need to survive without paying through the team, it tends to spread into every other aspect of life.

1. the can be tryin to scam
2. they can be tryin to not be scammed, probably cuz got scammed in the past
3. few days of minimal wage in your country is month or months of work for them... so money is very scarce for them

BTW im also from poor country (not as poor as india though) and i can tell you i barely spend money offline and online
Hmm, show us some samples of your work, I'm interested to see what you do and to see if your price is right.

Everyone knows Indians are all kanjoos, I mean haven't you ever seen Russell Peters?
Not to be racist but from my experience. Most Indians are CHEAP SKATES. Seriously, some are just plain greedy. It's like a culture thing. I used to work for Indians at a kwicky mart. They where so cheap they put themselves out of business.

Ironically enough they could just go on Upwork and get another Indian to do the job for them, so I'm betting you're not that expensive.

Wait, the kwicky mart is a real thing? I always though it was a made up store from the Simpsons (spelled differently though)

I worked at a place called 'Kwick Stop' for 8 years. I used to stock the beer cooler. 😝

They’re a whole different world over there man. It’s crazy
well, that justifies me being cheap :D
Through years of my experience, I figured out I don't want to deal with Indian and Chinese people. I have nothing against them but their mentality is not something I can deal with and they just make me mad every time. So I always ask my clients where they're from and if it's Asia, I just kindly reject the client. You can tell me that I'm a douche or whatever, but it's best for both parties. What I noticed with Indian and Chinese people, when they pay you, they think they own you. They will milk as much as possible, message you whole day long and expect that you dedicate 24 hours a day to them. Besides that, in 99% of the situations, their English is awful and I have to spend more time understanding what they meant with every message they send.

Indians put shame to the Jews when it comes to finances. My old job taught me that.
