Murenase! Seton Gakuen - Discussion

Hello, I don't see a discussion thread on this anime, so I thought I'd create one.

Quote:Seton Academy, a school full of animals where, thanks to population decline, there are fewer humans than any other creature. Mazama Jin, an animal hater and the only human male in his class, falls in love with Hino Hitomi, the only female human, the moment he lays eyes her. However he soon finds himself entangled with various other creatures after he reluctantly joins the 'pack' of Lanka the wolf, the only other member of her pack.

It's highly recommended to keep your posts in spoilers, but there really is no way to enforce that since this is a discussion thread and anything goes. Don't get upset if you read something and you aren't up-to-date with the current episodes.

I've noticed this anime is pretty popular this season. To me, it's a 7 at most. But that's just my opinion. I am really curious to know what you guys think of it?

My thoughts on episode 4!

this show is dumb as hell but still really fun
Latest episode wasn't too bad, and I am looking forward to the next episode. Now that the Zebra girl and the donkey followers she has are allowed to use the cooking club room for their activities, I'm wondering if they'll get more screentime. Also, since they are in there I am also wondering if they are going to join the cooking club. There wasn't much trouble from the student council president this episode, and Jin was able to resolve the "other species being together" thing that was going on in past episodes, so I am wondering if she'll act up again now that there are three new animals in the cooking club room but I don't believe so.

I do agree it's fairly dumb, but it has it's funny moments. Especially with Miyubi!
The episode wasn't too bad. I like panda girl and I think it's pretty funny that she's a masochist. I didn't think she was going to join the cooking club, but I knew that Jin was going to put her in place and show her that in life you have to work for things and not everything will be handed to you. I still don't like the cat even though we don't see her too often, but whenever we do she can get a little bit annoying. The kiss with Meimei and Jin at the end was hilarious and I couldn't stop laughing. I don't think I'll be looking forward too much to the next episode from the preview because it doesn't look interesting, but we'll see!
For those who are watching this, you already know how silly and random this show can be. I had a good amount of laughs this episode and there was a bunch of hilarious scenes. This anime isn't too special to me and I think it's just average, but at times it can be entertaining.

The next episode is going to be interesting! I don't think it's going to be an entire beach/swimsuit episode, but we'll be getting some swimsuit action! Also, we are met with three new characters, in which two of them look very interesting. Megane girl, possibly a dolphin, and another blue haired girl that looks nice. I think one of them is at least a dolphin, but I may be wrong. Until next week!
Episode 8 was probably the most enjoyable episode of the series so far. The anime is still random and you never know what's going to happen. But it's taken me 8 episodes to realize there is no real plot for this anime. So if you like surprises, you'll like this.

Episode 8 had very funny moments in it. I laughed a lot and what went on kept me interested in watching. I don't believe in the ending preview of episode 7 they explained why they were going to their sister school, which is an academy by the sea, but we did get to see a preview of new characters. It happened to be a bottlenose dolphin and a beluga whale!

It's interesting to see that the sister schools popular group happened to be dolphins. I felt like there were more dolphins than any other sea animal there which is a bummer. I'd like to see and learn more but dolphins and beluga whales aren't uninteresting.

To some, this episode might be cringe. But I hate saying that word unless I truly mean it. No one understands the meaning anymore. Cringing is when you physically feel grossed out because of something. The majority of people say it to be edgy or simply because they don't know the difference between cringe and weird. Anyways, I'll use this term "cringe" here, to let people know they might find the episode weird towards the end. If you aren't so much into musical performances or similar stuff, then you'll just be weirded out the whole time. But, the majority of people who watch shonen and other things like that aren't probably watching this type of anime.

I thought the scenes between Jin and the giraffe were very funny. Also, the voice actor from Darling in the Franxx who voiced Mitsuru was voicing one of the giraffes so I couldn't help but laugh after picturing him in a more flamboyant way. If you watched the episode, you'll understand what I mean by this. He's been in a few anime this season and his voice acting isn't terrible, but he's one of those people who when you hear them for the first time as a major role, you only see him as that character. So whenever I hear him, I can only picture Mitsuru. It's just like when Kurumi speaks, who is the catgirl in this anime, I can only picture Nico from Love Live.

The ending of the episode was so predictable. Once the dolphin girl said that species can only stick together with the same species, I knew that the cooking club wasn't going to stop until they proved her wrong. And they did just that, the beluga whale girl was able to join the synchronized swimming club with the dolphins.

The next episode doesn't look too interesting, but it will probably be filled with the comedic tone we are hoping to get out of this anime. I don't think the anime will be doing anything special as it did for this episode. I felt like episode 8 was awesome because it finally changed stuff up. We didn't exactly get a beach scene, but we were able to see all of our favorite girls in swimsuits. The rest of the remaining episodes are probably going to be at seton academy, but it would be nice if they branched out and did something different. I think what would make this anime cool is if the animals did something human-like for a day, such as do human activies like go shopping or something. We are only focused on the animals really in this episode so that would make for an awesome time!

See ya'll next week!
Because I like to have more in-depth discussions with anime that I like, I generally do not post too much when it comes to anime like this. So, with that being said, don't expect much of a discussion from me when it comes to this anime. 😁

We are almost done with this anime. After the latest episode, episode nine, we have three episodes left! The latest episode was filled with a bunch of fan-service, more than this anime has ever had. If you have a favorite girl in this anime, more than likely you'll enjoy the episode.

We are introduced to some new animals which are nice and we also get to learn a little about them. This anime is great for those who want something funny, slightly educational, and fits your favorite genre. Although this anime isn't the best, and there is no storyline being followed, you do get some entertainment out of the anime. I know I'm more so reviewing the anime than discussing the episode, but I felt like I needed to get this out there.

The next episode seems like what I'd like to call a filler episode. Although this anime does not follow a storyline as I said, the next episode just seems like an episode to pass the time and is more for giggles than plot. Hopefully, it is a good one though because it does look interesting!
Eh, glad this anime is almost done. Nothing interesting has happened in a while. Also noticing this anime is getting more and more ecchi. Next episode seems super ecchi too.

Hope they can end with a bang.
The ending was okay. I ended up giving this anime a 6/10 instead of the seven I had originally. I would recommend this for someone who wants something to pass the time. The comedic aspect was not terrible and it saved the show since there was no plot.

The ending cutscene might have hinted to a second season! What do you guys think of this anime and do you think there will be a second season?
