Thiking about buying a surface book or a pro 4 for photoshop (drawing and graphics) and just some other day to day usage, are they worth there money or are there better alternatives? Typically I don't use a laptop/tablet but the drawing aspect is quite appealing
Does anyone use a Surface Book/Surface Pro 4 |

I had a Pro 2 a number of years ago. I liked the device. Seemed fairly powerful.
Do you want something Windows and not Mac? (Jan 27, 2020 01:58 PM)Omniscient Wrote: I had a Pro 2 a number of years ago. I liked the device. Seemed fairly powerful. I just sorta want something not too pricy that I can use on the go (Also with the touchscreen that'll allow me to sketch) Can get a Surface Book i7 8GB 256GB SSD from work for £400 or a Surface pro 4 for around the same price. Wouldn't it only be the ipad pro that could allow this functionality?

I was afraid because the last Surface model was horrendous on my end, but was surprised how much I liked it. See, I have a terrible tenancy of buying things, using them a little then never touching it again aha. For example my smart watch, Bridge camera, My old laptop, nintendo DS, nintendo switch etc 🤣 (Jan 27, 2020 02:17 PM)Vеrt Wrote: I almost bought one a while back, but they were too much out of my price range for what I wanted and it didn’t make sense. However, I’m in need for a very portable device now and I might look into getting one soon If you're UK/Europe i can link you to the place i work for so u can get a 10% discount if you like (Jan 27, 2020 02:37 PM)Anima Wrote: See, I have a terrible tenancy of buying things, using them a little then never touching it again aha. I just recently bought a Lenovo Flex and it's perfect for college and coding. I'd highly recommend See i'm not sure whether to go for the pro or book, the surface book seems to be an alright all rounder (Jan 27, 2020 02:47 PM)Anima Wrote: See i'm not sure whether to go for the pro or book, the surface book seems to be an alright all rounder If you're looking for more mobile and on the go I'd say maybe the book. Seems from reviews the pro looks a little laggy in photoshop when drawing but can't find anything about the book |
