in web development, how would you go about automating specifically crypto currencies such as Ethereum/BTC.
Paypal has a public API which I've taken a look into which will work fine, but how can I accept cryptocurrency and then automatically send that out without me having to do each transaction individually.

You'll have to take a look at running your own Bitcoin server, probably bitcoind, and then take a look at the API references for the RPC server that it runs: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/API_reference_(JSON-RPC)

You have examples for the requests in almost every language so you can adapt it to your application.
