Okay, I know it sounds extremely weird but then I talked to my friend about it and he gets the same thing sometimes.

It's literally just a sharp pain that shoots from the belly button down to the tip of the penis. Not sure what causes it, but through a little searching, I see it's common among males.

Does anybody else out there experience this from time to time? I can barely stand up straight at the moment, and it usually just goes away on its own.

Internally or externally? Sounds like a potential UTI or STI issue to me. Are you sexually active? If so get yourself checked at a clinic. It will bring you peace of mind.

I’d secondly this the only time I randomly got pains in the tip of my dick it was cause I had an std. I’d go to the clinic and get tested a lot of them can be cured with a dose of antibiotics they give you there.

I'll randomly have some sharp pains deep in my belly button when I stand up on lean forward. Never had it extending to my dick though. I'd call the nurse hotline and ask them lol (811 in canada)

I've mentioned it to my doc while figuring out what's been going on with my stomach (diagnosed with IBS) and she didn't seem concerned. That was Gastroenterologist, though. I think I'll have to call my primary physician's nurse and talk to her about this.

That is sounding more like a nerve issue to me then. Perhaps break up times when you are sitting with some stretches or a small walk around and see if that is of benefit.
