For some reason I am unable to uninstall the TOR browser because it is not showing up in my Programs and features on my PC. I tried restarting the PC still doesn't show up. I feel TOR appears to be slowing down my whole PC. What can I do?

That's weird, I always use the portable edition or brave browsers bulit in TOR browser.

Have you ran a malware bytes scan? Checked your registry? Guessing you're on windows?

Yeah I'm on Windows 8. I'll run a new Malware Bytes scan now.

OK malware bytes says everything is fine.

I doubt Tor is slowing down your PC, however if you want to uninstall it check the file directory if there is an uninstall app. If not just delete the directory manually.

Maybe you're getting a stealth windows update in the background?

I hate those things and barely use windows anymore unless I need to use a made for windows only program.
