Here's my movie plot idea

The premise of the movie is like this. A cyberterrorist organization plans on causing the "End of the Internet As We Know It" by forcing IP address exhaustion.

For the unsavvy, IP address exhaustion is what happens when every single IP address becomes occupied, disallowing new devices from connecting.

To do this, they must leverage a vulnerability similar to this news article, where the hackers forged their credit cards so that they contain shellcode http://static5.businessinsider.com/barne...ck-2012-10

The protagonist is a millenial surrounded by technophobes who don't see the severity of the problem. He/she juggles between criticism from his environment and trying to put a stop to the cyberterrorists.

Action/drama with dubstep OST.
If I wouldn't pass from Corona, I'd watch this plot of urs.
It´s not that bad. When I think about it, I had roughly the same idea once. But just what do you mean surrounded by technophobes? Is that like bitter old people who hate computers or what?

I was thinking like, parents who look down on computers and smartphones, get what I mean. Or those with the mentallity that "video games cause violence" or something similar

Personally I must admit that I agree with much of that. It all depends on the tech is used, but I think the way most kids today use computers and smartphones is bad for them.

Well in all seriousness though, kids drowning themselves in tech is bad, no matter what generation you're in.

I'm thinking something similar to The Taking of Pelham 123, where the wife tells the main character (Denzel Wshington) before he was about to face the antagonist (John Travolta)

"Now you do what you have to do, but we need milk."

Basically the protagonist's family/peers don't see the gravity of the problem. Hence they pressure him/her to stop trying to save the world.

Wait! Bonus points if the cyberterrorists actually manage to shut down the internet for a bit, making them appreciate the protagonist when he/she succeeds.
