So today I moved back home due to COVID-19 and set my pc up.
Straight away I have been noticing weird things such as Google chrome plays sound on the first youtube video, but on the second no sound at all I need to restart google and have the same error again.
Now my Spotify won't play music and if I try to listen to a playlist it shuffles a new song every second before sound even comes out?

Anyone know wtf my pc is up too, it's fairly new and has some decent specs.

Are your audio drivers up to date?
I'd say go over to the Malware, Rat, and Virus Removal and maybe post a thread there, most people will more than likely end up trolling on this. However, good luck on finding out what could be up.

By the looks all my drivers are up to date, just double checked :/
thanks for the suggestion though.
Updating some drivers using Nvidia Geforce Experience and hopefully will fix it.
Edit: updating drivers with geforce experience did nothing :(

Your system is infected with the COVID-19 viruses.
The only way to cure this is to log off/shut down the system.
Then burn it.
Did you try troubleshoot (right click the sound icon on the lower right of you screen)?
No wonder you have no sound, you have shit taste in music.

Honestly sounds like your windows 10 updates screwed up your sound drivers. Remove and reinstall them using the hardware companies website.

Put your hard drive in the microwave for 30 minutes. It fixes all windows related issues.

sfc seems to be the fixer of all Windows errors.

You are correct, had to run sfc many times in the past after power surges/brown out/black outs knocking out my windows 10 PCs.
OP maybe try this:

I fixed the issue, apparently if I plug my speaker in my computer works perfect again, even my headset or monitor works again just as long the speaker is plugged in?
Very strange.
