Beer shortage

So if the alcohol companies start making hand sanitizer instead, Will America run out of beer? I project that my beer stash will only last another month-ish :(

I highly doubt we will reach the months figures to be locked down, maybe 8 weeks, which I see as the new number being thrown around. I doubt there will be a beer shortage unless they somehow think this will cure them too, like how they hoarded toilet paper after the scare of dying while shitting your pants. lol
To be fair I think that beer is more important than hand sanitizer so like... Hopefully that doesn't happen.

I agree man. If you’re stuck in your house indefinitely then you for sure need beer more than hand sanitizer (thumbs up)

Some people have been saying that vodka cures covid lmao
Most beer is made from barley. Ethanol for sanitizers is generally from wheat and rye. Your whiskey supply would be at much greater risk. Beer not so much.

Relax no one asked you to hit us with all that knowledge!
Just kidding but yeah that definitely makes sense. Good thing I don't drink Whiskey or I would lose my mind.
Time to start a micro brewery and still in your garage, Let's bring bootlegging back ;)

If we run out of beer that’s when the riots will well and truly start
They make enough, to not even think of running out of beer. They could easily make both and still have funds left over.
I highly doubt there would be a shortage, considering the amount of beer and alcohol Americans go through when there isn't a pandemic or crisis happening. If anything I feel as though there will be more beer available due to the fact that beer isn't on the top of most people's lists at this time.
Alcohol is usually produced in mass.

I highly doubt there will ever be a shortage.

Our local beer stores have still been open although they only allow a certain amount of people in the store at one time.
Alcohol is considered an essential in the states that shutdown.

Also you should look up how beer is actually brewed. You could do it yourself.
Just drink the hand sanitizer idiot.
Not to make you all jealous, I'm in self-quarantine and got around 300-ish bottles of beer stashed😆😆😆😆
