Hello, I came back to the site as of recently because I wanted to reopen one of my old services I started back in 2017. However, it appears that the sales thread was closed by a moderator. I assume this was due to inactivity? If that is the case, and since I did not close it myself, can a staff member please reopen it manually? Or would I still require UB3R to do this? If not, am I allowed to repost the same thread again?

As an Ub3r you aren't allowed to open threads up when a mod closed it.
Every market thread was closed a while back for the contract system. Don’t PM staff to reopen it. Just make a new one.
Once a thread is closed by staff/mentor, you can’t reopen it. It won’t let you.

@OP, you wouldn't be able to edit that thread anymore anyways, as there are time limit restrictions to thread edits now (unless you buy a sticky for the thread or a sales tag). You're better off starting a new thread.

I know he isn't ub3r, it's as clear as day he isn't.
I am letting him know being ub3r does not give you this permission.
I think you will have to make a new sales thread, that works with the new marketplace rules.
This doesn't have anything to do with being uber. All threads that didn't have a contract displayed were automatically closed by a script. That was when we introduced the contract system.
If you still want to offer that, you have to make a new thread that's compliant with the new marketplace policies. Keep in mind, you CANNOT link to your portfolio anymore. You have to be a vendor (gotta apply, $100 fee) in order to link to it.

It was a blast being on staff. I stepped down as it's time for me to move on. I wish you all the best and if you were hit by my warnings and/or bans, it was nothing personal.
Peace out!
