Today HF was born 13 years ago.  It's now the same age as some of its members. 😁 It's been a long wonderful journey and I'd like to thank all the members who have been here through those years.  It takes a webmaster to build a website. It takes members to build a community.  I'm rather proud of what we have all achieved.  From the trolls that entertain us to the ebook writers helping members make fortunes 🤣all the way to the HF socialites that have personalities bigger than life (Lavish Living that's you).  Each member that's joined has contributed in a small way.  

Sitting at my desk this morning and almost immediately realizing that April 21st is the Birthday shows me how connected I am to this site. And based on the many messages I get I know some of you are as well.  HF ain't just a site for us to type into the browser. It's a place where we meet friends, find joy, learn new things, explore interests, and even make money.  Some days we laugh and others we rage.  Yet still the next day we show up to experience it all over again.  Each day like a new breathe with opportunities abound.

During these very weird times of Covid-19 and the vast amounts of us in lockdowns this is our biggest outlet to the world.  It's a social hub where we connect to each other.  I'm so glad I've had HF here to keep me company and maintain sanity, even if this place drives me nuts sometimes.

Ayyy! Happy birthday. For real....how does it feel after all these years?

It feels like each year that passes I'm somewhat flabbergasted we made it another year. I have seen so many sites come and go in this time and even more recently a few huge sites just close up. I suppose that means I'm still making good decisions running this place and I just hope I can continue to do that. The past couple years with Xerotic has created a new level of development and improvement that hasn't been here for many years. I just want to keep my head down and move forward.
