I’ve been thinking of getting a small/medium sized plant for my room. Something I can water a few times a week that doesn’t require much work, while giving some more life to my room.

I have no experience whatsoever as to what plant(s) would be ideal. Anything you guys recommend?

Aloe and Peace lily or whatever it is called. Really easy to maintain and they look good.

How’s the scent? I doubt it but it would be cool if it gave a nice strong plant smell to my room.

My mom has a Aloe and it doesen't smell afaik. But i don't life at home, so i can't check right now.

Honestly, the best thing would be to ask a plant shop worker for their opinion. Well, atleast when the rona thing is over.

Aloe is definitely nice to have around the house for burns, pretty easy to grow to. Always had it around when I was growing up used it more times than I would like to admit

You could get the smaller bamboo plants. Those don't grow much. There are some nice smelling aloe plants which I would recommend and exotic cactus, only if you want.
