If it sounds too good to be true...

Hey whats up everyone. I just wanted to throw this out there and see what people think. Yeah its HF but I still wanna know what yall think about this.

So first off, growing up, people irl and online told me that if something sounds to good to be true, it is. Growing up I was taught to avoid things that seem fishy and not persure things that would waste my time.

In my early teens, as I used the internet more and more I soon found out that is was possible to make money online.

It started with Pokermon Go. I was botting accounts and selling them on eBay. It got to a point where I was just buying them from other botters and reselling them because the profit margin was so big ($0.40 and selling it for ~$10-20). I made around $5k and this was while I was still not even 15 years old.

After pokemon died and they banned all my bot accounts, I moved on. I started looking for other things I could do online to make money. I got into crypto and trading. I had a really good friend and all we did for 6 months was trade crypto and invest in ICOs. I even had a youtube channel at one point. We made a shit ton and then things get interesting. One day we find an ICO that is about to launch and we found an exploit in their site. Over the course of a week, we set everything up to be able to withdraw a shit ton of btc as soon as the site went live. It worked, we each got out like $100K yeah $100,000 USD. This was at like BTC's peak around $20k

This was the first of many "get rich quick schemes" that I have been part of. Yeah I am aware that this is unethical but im just trying to make a point.

I see people everywhere telling people not to try to make money online or that "its impossible to get rich quick online."

Its just odd to me becuase each time I make a good amount of money online, it always seems wayyy "too good to be true."

Just recently, I found a method and cashed out over $15k before they caught on. It might be dead now but still, ill take $15k any day.

I didn't really want to make this about what I've done as a person but more of like an insperation. Obv when someone says that someting "sounds too good to be true" they're usually just saying lookout for scams but I think that its dumb to think that its impossible. I've done it, my friends have done it.

I guess if anything, just be inspired and realize that anything is possible. Don't take anyone's advice over your own.
I don't know man. All of this sounds too good to be true.
Thanks man now i will go make monies and never listen to advice from anyone! Really needed this.

since it's dead, will you share the method?
Just depends what it is and where its coming from. Obviously a Nigerian prince needs your help and offers a large sum of money is too good to be true while an idea with possible payout is never not worth putting time into.

Then it's an E-book.
.
You got a point for sure, not everything thats "to good to be true" is a lie/waste of time or a scam BUT and that is a big BUT, most of them probably are. And don't get me wrong i mostly hate all the people that advertise their whatsapp groups and tell you to pay x amount to get some interesting investment whatevers. And i wont klick on any links that seem suspicions or have something strange on them.

I think there are a couple of "Get rich quick schemes, but like i said thats probably lower than .05% of whats out there. If i could make a shitton of money till tomorrow without joining something or giving away information for it, i'd probably do it just to try it out but if i have to login w/ real info or something i wont do anything.
But i am sure you can just figure out most of the time what is "too good to be true" and if it will work or not.

I think it is just about being critical knowing each consequence, weighing the different perspectives. Also, having great knowledge about what you are going into is also quite necessary (almost all of the aspects). It is not easy all the time to tell what is a scam or not (unless its some blatant person DM'ing you that "you" have won BTC or some similar). Besides taking coordinated risks is the way, doubled my economy from ROBLOX. Therefore, I agree with your post :)
When people say too good to be true, they usually aren't referring to any black/grey hat activity.
