What is being dead like? (any of you ever been dead momentarily?)

I have always had this weird feeling about death, that it can't be any worse than sleeping w/o dreams. In both cases you're unconscious and time just passes right by you.

Have any of you experienced death? Even for a few moments? If so please share your experience.
Never experienced it but isn't it strange that it just ends somewhere? Like "Cut" thats the end of the road and everything is gone? Sometimes a thought that fucks me up because i don't know whats after. You know, do you even feel you're going? Or are the last minutes of brain activity just like a dream you have but you're not able to wake up?
Was shaving my balls it caught my skin and my life flashed before me :/
If you ask me, there's nothing. Once you're dead, you're gone.

Yeah it does seem scary, that's why people use the thought of religion or some form of belief that there is more beyond that "cut", like heaven or hell or whatever tf u believe in lmao. And apparently the last few minutes of brain activity are supposedly your head reliving all the memories from your life - Not sure how accurate that is, but it would be a nice few final images to see tbh.
Not into any religion at all. I just think its strange that it ends abruptly.
So the consensus I'm getting is that it's pretty much just nothing

Pretty much, yeah.

You can try it and tell us how it's feel.
When I was in my early teens I was always terrified of death. The thought would enter my mind and almost petrify me for some reason. However, after thinking about it for a long time I am now totally at peace with the concept of death. If I was told tomorrow I only had 1 year to live I'd be upset of course but not scared. Yes, I believe there is nothing after death.

Once, I had a drinking session and walked into a door and fell backwards and smashed my head on the floor. I was unconcious for about a minute but had some sort of dream where I was floating towards the sky. Maybe I was momentarily dead IDK but it took me weeks to recover from that fully.

Since 2012, I've never felt alive brother.

I have gone through a lot of moments when I could've met with an accident which would end badly but most of the time I've been saved idk how.
A friend of mine had a heart attack, he was out of it. Not sure if "momentarily" dead but he felt like he was "floating" when he woke up and just didn't remember any of the ordeal.

He was given CPR right on time.
Haven’t experienced it momentarily but it’s something that bothers me. How is it? What happens to you and your conscience?
