Where are the threads on shellcode injection, gdb, buffer overflows?

Does everybody seriously only RAT on this site. Where are the people that know this stuff

For example:

https://ibb.co/DzxdJwZ

This is what I do
That stuff you mentioned previously is typically more advanced and I think rather than spoon feeding dangerous info to people, it stays where the people who know what they are doing can put it all together.

You'll likely find more of what you are looking for in the Programming, Coding, and Languages sections.
And or Decompiling, Reverse Engineering, Disassembly, and Debugging

Oh and nice Steel Series keyboard, looks like I have the same one =]

Edit--
Oh yep, I see the LioNine logo over there now, it looks nearly identical!
If your goal is to appear intelligent, you'll be seen as a fool.
If your goal is to discredit others, then you'll likely be discredited.
If your goal is to simply to learn, then you already know the secret.

It is not a Steel Series - it is a LioNine

Also you're probably right. I majored in Compsci and Infosys and completed a PhD. I also have CISSP certification. I would know none of this advanced hacking stuff if it weren't for the cybersecurity lessons I had. Some of our resources (books and handouts) were on exploitation, shellcode, programming in ASM, buffer overflows, metasploit exploitation and other topics.

I don't think it is easy to acquire this knowledge otherwise

Lots of people here are just learning, or are in it for monetisation reasons rather than improving their knowledge on this sort of stuff.

Yeah... it seems like there is only real basic things taught on this site. Nothing more advanced

I will be attending university to study in a field of cybersecurity or something of relevancy in the upcoming years. I believe HackTheBox is a website where they actively discuss buffer overflows e.g. if it's still active.

Same Here I Taking a 2 Year degree and graduating and Returning to a different one for a Masters degree.
I'm curious, how people make it work.
Do you also work day jobs? Full time/Part Time?
Do you have living arrangements that allow you to go to school without working?

Well personally I've worked in cybersecurity for years. You need to for CISSP certification. During my early uni days I worked in a cafe
Why don't you bring up a topic man?

Want to talk about buffer overflows, sure, what kind? let's talk about precision heap spraying and disarming EMET Mitigations, or bypassing ASLR?
Most people with "knowledge" are here just for the marketplace.
