Not able to view my alerts or convos.

Edit: I solved the problem by disabling the extention "Random User-Agent".

Hello,

I hope this is the right forum to post this, but did anyone else notice that the alerts and convos aren't visible?
When I click on the alert symbol it just keeps loading and the convo site won't load at all (but I can see that I have new alerts/convos). I had the same problem a few days ago.

Is it just me or is this a general issue?
Try closing your browser and opening it again.

I restarted but it didn't solve the problem :/
Have you tried switching to another broswer as well? Deleting cache?
It sometimes happens to me but it tends to figure itself out after abit just clear your cache or try a different browser if it continues.

Deleting the cache doesn't seem to work. I tried it with another browser and it worked, but I don't really want to switch my browser just because of that.

What is your main browser? May be useful to solve the issue.

Then it's possible an extension or add-on is breaking it. Can try uninstalling the browser or trying to load the page without those extensions, or trying to load the page through incognito mode.

I'm using Brave on PC.

Huh, that's odd then seeing Brave is used by many members here.

Could you take a quick screenshot of your notification settings page?

I think I figured out where the problem was. Convos and Alerts are working again after disabling the addon "Random User-Agent".

After reading through the overview to their add-on I can see why it might've blocked you from receiving them.

Quote:Automatically change the user agent after specified period of time to a randomly selected one, thus hiding your real user agent
User-Agent - a string that is sent along to any website you visit. This is a sort of "fingerprint" your browser leaves behind which contains:
- The name and version of your browser;
- The name of the operating system (Mac, Windows, Linux, etc.) and its version;
- Information about some of the plugins installed on the browser;
- Other information that identifies and exposes you.

This extension has been created to stop data leakage. It automatically replaces User-Agent strings after a specified period of time with a randomly selected one. User-Agent strings can also be set manually. The extension is incredibly lightweight, using very few resources. User-Agent randomization can be customized by the user (what browsers and OS are spoofed, etc.). Exceptions list available with option of wildcards. Protects against Javascript exploits to hide your identity and protect your anonymity.

glad to hear. Can you edit the first post updating it with the fix you did in case someone else had same issue and randomly find your thread.
