I got Torguard vpn I know it's possible to port forward. My question is can I use any port number and do i have to play around with the ports on my windows settings? I never really done this last time i did was a while ago 2014ish so im very rusty if anyone can help me out.

You just need to open port from the VPN, disable your Firewall or AV and you are fine to go,
