Its a local edit, some users might access HF from a place where they dont need a shoulder surfer to see blatant adverts for rats and e whoring methods in a user sig.

I'm pretty sure tampermonkey has a search function. Would recommend just searching HackForums/HF there and see what you find!

Tried, found a few of outdated scripts on HF and nothing on greaseyfork.
Hence my reaching for the community to spread the lovely scripture

But I would start by learning HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

Only user script I've ever used is the one that counted how many letters I've written in my posts so I know if it was eligible for any of the gift box awards. I don't know if something like this would come in handy today.
