Scary things that happened to you

Guys what are some terrifying things that you have lived through
When I was six years old and traveling with my family in Mexico, my mom got robbed. It happened so fast that I didn't know what happened at the time, but the thought that it can just happen like that terrified me. The police caught the people (or at least they caught two guys who may have fit the profile). I've been to Mexico several times after that and nothing has happened since.
On the day of my H.S graduation I was crossing the street and was legit 2 feet away from getting ran over by a big ole truck that didn't see me crossing.
To be honest, it might be funny to admit but i had quite a vanilla life, so i haven't encountered anything REALLY scary or hard to go through//
Good deeds make a long distance.
My aunt died in our house, I was the one calling the ambulance meanwhile her two young kids had to witness it as well.
One time when I was in 6th grade I was part of the music class that went around to local businesses caroling during Christmas time (rural South... unsure how common this is in other areas). We had just done a song on the live air for the radio. We were walking out of the building and back to the bus and I had a period where I lost my stream of consciousness but my body must have continued on as normal. I remember feeling odd walking out, blackness, and then stepping onto the bus. Maybe 30-60 seconds lost. From my perspective, my consciousness just skipped that period of time. Nobody around me was acting as if I were doing anything strange either.

Never knew what that was. The random loss of mind can be a frightening concept. Sure, things within reality can be frightening. But what happens your brain starts making it's own reality that differs from what's real? That's frightening.

Once got into an avalanche while I was doing off-piste skiing in Austria, that was not fun.

Some years ago, I took the bus to go to my work, a young girl run after the bus which was just living the station.

The driver saw here but didn't want to stop, he turned on the right, she got snapped up, everybody went outside of the bus and they screamed, I didn't look and I'm happy for that, otherwise I'm pretty sure I would often remember the scene.

She was 18 and was in the same high school I was some years ago. Damn bro, 18 years old
was swimming at around age 13 and it was a ymca so they had a little playground in the water, anyways, i was swimming near it and kind of pushed myself in the water and actually hit a metal pole head first. lost consciousness for like 30 seconds in the water and had to be carried out by paramedics

Same exact thing has happened to me. My consciousness skipped the time where I had to jump down a fence, cross the train rails and a road. I don’t remember doing any of these but suddenly I was on my door.
I ran from police with few grams

I think it might have been something called Non-epileptic seizure (NES). Its brought about by anxiety or stress. Have you ever consulted a physician regarding this and did it happen again?

In my case my terrifying moment was when I was touring Kashmir. Southeast asian countries usually dont have jaywalking laws and traffic laws enforced that stringently. So I was waiting to cross the road and couldnt find a chance as the vehicles were not following any rules/laws. A buddy who was with me told me to cross at a particular moment and we were rushing over to the other side and suddenly two buses came up through the road, both racing for no apparent reason. The buses went past by both our sides leaving just a few inches of space. I thought I was a goner for sure.

Being homeless was the worst feeling for me. Always had to go to sleep carefully just so much to worry about.
