Policy Question

Contract policy and site link question

Hi! I've taken the time to review the marketplace policies here, and I have a question regarding a specific situation.

I noticed that I cannot post site links as I'm obviously not a VENDOR yet. I also noticed that the policy seemed to specifically refer to site links in which a product can directly be purchased from.

The service I plan to offer here is an automated trading bot that only charges after the user has used the product. In essence, invoices are generated based on 20% of the user's weekly net profit using our bot. It is entirely possible for a user to visit our site, sign up, and start trading without paying a dime. Of course, in order to continue trading after the first week, they must pay the weekly fee. It looks like this:

A) Am I still unable to directly post our site link on the thread even though there is no immediate exchange occurring between the buyer and I?

B) How can I form the contract around this? Would I just have the user open a contract exchanging $0, accept the contract on my end, send the user the platform link, and as soon as the bot is trading mark my end as complete, having him mark his end complete one week later once he pays his fee on the profits generated during the first week of use?

Sorry if I am over-complicating a rather simple system or missing something. I was warned by the person who recommended this forum to me that there are very, very specific protocols to follow and I only want to do my part correctly.

Thanks.

A) You can't have a site displayed on your thread if you're going to sell something, it's very simple.

B) You can't have contracts for $0, that doesn't make any sense. What you're trying to do doesn't go along with the contracts system at all. There's no pay later option or invoice option.

This is how you can achieve what you want to do. You post a thread in the appropriate section of the marketplace (let's say Premium Sellers Section) and display a contract on the thread. If a user is interested, they should send you a PM in which you send the site and keep track of that user's HF account when they register on your site. You open a contract after there is a need for payment, aka when you're going to send the invoice.

The part where you open a contract with a user that needs to be charged can be fully automated with HF's API. More information can be found here.

If you need more help regarding policies, send me a PM.

It was a blast being on staff. I stepped down as it's time for me to move on. I wish you all the best and if you were hit by my warnings and/or bans, it was nothing personal.

Peace out!
