Hello! Im not sure if this is the correct category to post this in but anyways i need help! This guy: [deleted] has stolen my friends bike and is posting it for sale in facebook groups. Me and my friends would like to talk face to face with this guy but i don't know if its possible to find his personal information "name, address, number.." trough this fake facebook account he is using, atleast he has a number connected to the account but all i can get is +*********16 and i need the whole number to find him. So i'm wondering if someone here would be able to help me or not 🙂.

Exactly what Scrub said, why don't you pretend to be an interested buyer and confront him when you go to "check out the bike"

Yeah my friend made a big misstake, he was mad and wrote to him that he wanted his bike back, my friend got blocked by him and he deleted the post from the facebook group :/

Edit: He has added a new bike for sale and we are gonna try to get in contact with him with my personal facebook account now

Yeah i've tried to google but its an "fake" facebook account with a fake name so its hard. Me and my friends is trying to get in contact with the thief right now but with no progress.

I've literally done the same thing when a friend of mine had his phone stolen... you'd think it would be the first thing that comes to mind haha

On the real, ask to meet up and get the police involved before you go there with proof you own it.

See I’m low key on the other side of things.. I like to meet up with people and not get the cops involved .. I like to get even . Police wouldn’t do anything that would make it right for me .

If it were me, I would get one of my other mates to message him that they are unlikely to know. Maybe from a different area. Go to buy the bike and just take it. Fight if you need to but you probably wont. Just remember the face and do what you gotta do.

Yeah we send him a massage from my facebook account but with no respond. The theif has posted two more bikes for sale and we think they are probably stolen too. The ad of my friends bike is removed so its a chance that its already sold. Will keep you updated when the theif responds t our massage.
